Not that any one of us have ever done this but if we did, this could happen.......

after getting back in the appropriate areas of responsibility - following behind another officer, from another agency when a broadcast is put out about a gas drive off.  Another officer, from this other agency, comes across the air, and tells everyone that this same car and occupant that did the gas drive off is an aggrevated robbery suspect (weapon involved) from the previous night.

These two officers [;)] happen to look to the left and BINGO! There is car matching the description.  These two officers flip a uuei begin following.  Other officer checks LP through commo, and BINGO AGAIN!  This is the car.

BG turns, we........ur, I mean the two officers turn with him.  Other agency officer ask if he has the officer with him, who has been following.  Said officer, says yup.  BG take off............now that is suprising.  Primary officer gives sit rep to his dispatch.  Before other can even pick up the mike to advise dispatch, BG looses control............
remember all bad guys are excellant drivers! [:D]
shoots through a ditch, smashes into tree.
[BD]
Shotguns and pistols come out, other officers are around by now.  BG's are taken into custody.  Both have to be transported to hospital for boo-boos.  No good guys are hurt, no shots fired and bad guys go to jail.....eventually.

But remember this did not happen because no one was out screwing off.

Nope!
The officer was in his district, rolling through the Brittmore area.
At least that is what I heard. [:D]
