Well, finally got the pics off the camera from last month. She's anxious to go shooting again, and as soon as I get her rifle back from the smith (for a new front sight) we'll be be off to the range.

Anyway, I've talked about her alot here, she's 12, the rifle was a combined x-mas / b-day present and is a dedicated .22lr CZ v-22 that we've modified just a little bit.

Pics of her at the house with the new rifle (I didn't have to "coach her" on trigger discipline)

And at the range, not much in pictures, it was C-O-L-D that day...early Feb in Michigan!

Rifle shot fine, she's an "old pro" at the range (been shooting for almost 8 years), but the front sight post was too high, so she was low....you may remember me posting a thread about that...anyway, we have it in for a standard FSB being installed in place of the rail block and removable FS.

Good job No_Expert !!! Teach them kids early.

That's a nice looking range is that the DNR range?

Ps that has to be with that shell case in the chamber.

Thanks for all the great comments! Just showed her the thread, big smiles!

The range is DNR, out at Island Lake. Yeah, it's a pain with only a max load of 6 rounds, but for $4 all day, it's nice to actually concentrate on marksmanship.

Awesome, always good to get the younger crowd involved

Suggestion, you might think about a shorter or adjustable stock though... that A2 stock looks a bit long for her.

Funny you mention that...it's an A1 stock...that was one of the last things I was able to get (through EE of course).

Actually, the length is good for her, she can even handle the A2 length on my other rifle, it's just the picture I think.

Too cool! And when the boys start knocking, you can just offer to chaperone them on a date at the range.
