You gotta be able to laugh, my dear.  Especially at yourself.    It was an hysterical situation, and we still laugh about it.  

Besides, I added it to my 'Get out of jail free' list, up there with 'The day that Jason flooded the house by leaving the hot water running in the utility room sink'.  One day, I'm going to do something so stupid or insane that i should get in trouble for it, then I'm going to pull one of the trump cards from my list...and I'm off, scot free.  Just have to know when to play your cards.

What went down with the Infinity:  The crazy chic had State Farm insurance, and they were more than helpful with us.  They paid for a rent car for me for about a week, and the adjuster for SF told us within 2 days that they would be paying out for the repairs on my car.  Said that the crazy chic was definitely in the wrong.  He actually told us that it didn't matter that I was parked the wrong way, she probably would have hit my car anyway.  We were very surprised at how forthcoming her insurance company was.  We had been prepared for a battle, but everything went much more smoothly than we could have imagined.  So this is what we did...Did not get the car fixed.  An independent guy bought the Infinity as is, and the insurance company paid out on what it would have taken to fix the car.  We took that money and paid cash for another truck for the Mr.  We turned in his truck and bought the Durango.  With the cash left over, we bought an ATV for him to have at the deer lease.  Who would have thought that with her hitting my car, we would get two new cars (one MUCH better than I had before), a much lower car payment each month, a 4 wheeler, and still only one car payment each month...

Came out smelling like a rose on this one.
