Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - CA Boating and Guns

One of the places I go Sturgeon fishing (Just north of the Moth Ball Fleet)has a couple of hunting clubs in the area.
Shooting appears to be legal for them.
I figure that I would get in trouble for plinking off my boat.
Is this illegal in a hunting area?
Could some one show me a link to a rule on this?

I know that area too, I've taken my Bayliner out around Grizzly Bay and into the sloughs and there are a few hunting clubs back in there that I know of.

I know that hunters regularly hunt for ducks from small boats by Suisun and back into Grizzly Island.

I think the answer is no, but if you find a spot let me know.
