It depends entirely on your state's laws. Federally, you're building a firearm for your own use. As long as it's not an assault weapon (no problem there) they don't care. You just can't build it with the intent of selling it. You [i]could[/i] change your mind later, though. Norm

Shadowblade, if what you have is the black powder derringer, it's a fun little gun to shoot. Just be careful about the powder charge you put in, measure it with care. Remember, it's a gun, cheap or not!
