There may be a few states that have specific laws against them, but Federally, and in most states, they are totally legal.
Now, IR lasers are much more controlled, because they can blind you if pointed at the eyes. Of course, you have to have night vision in order to see the dot. -Troy |

Well I guess I will check my state and city laws. While on the subject can you recommend a specific model? I think it would be nice because I don't have very good vision. I picture using a scope looking at the projected dot as a potential benefit. Your thoughts?

Get 3 single dots and strap em up in a triangular pattern.
You'd scare the hell out of anyone whose seen one of the "Predator" movies. [:D] |
