Legal at point A (home), legal at point B (destination), put it in the trunk and go. You are protect during travels from point A to B via the "McClure-Volmer Act".
If AR is registerd as SBR, then you need an approved 5320.20 before you cross state line(s). |

This is correct, you will be within the law. Every time I go to PA from NY, I have to pass right smack through NJ for the majority of my trip, and that always makes me nervous even though it is legal to do so.

It is legal in TN, and the 10 mile stretch through GA on 59 is legal as far as I know.
