Ok, I'm going to AL at Thanksgiving, from NC, be in NC, TN, a bit of GA, and AL.

Will I have any probs carrying my AR with me?

Thanks

Legal at point A (home), legal at point B (destination), put it in the trunk and go. You are protect during travels from point A to B via the "McClure-Volmer Act".

If AR is registerd as SBR, then you need an approved 5320.20 before you cross state line(s).

Is it legal to have in AL?  How do I find this out?

Thanks.

More than likely, yes. What around the board for a AL member.

It is legal in TN, and the 10 mile stretch through GA on 59 is legal as far as I know.
