My dad owns a swap meet and has a vendor that would like to sell ammunition on premises. Would either my dad (the property owner) or the vendor need an FFL?

I told him that I didn't think so, but advised him to call the local ATF office to be sure.

I don't think he's heard back yet, so I figured someone here had to know!

Thanks!

FROM THE B.A.T.F.E. WEBSITE FAQ: (LINK)

Is a license required to engage in the business of selling small arms ammunition?

No. A license is not required for a dealer in ammunition only, but a manufacturer or an importer must be licensed.

That's what I thought. *smacking myself in the head* Should have just gone to the website instead of giving myself a migraine thumbing through 27CFR....
