please do not give up your weapon. please do as so many here have suggested and bury it in plastic pvc in grease or move the lower receiver out of state in some manner. I have a good friend, a consummate professional man of almost 60 years of age who just moved out of KA to new mexico and of course took all his aw s with him because of the unconstitutional laws. there is no question that eventually all those who registered those guns will lose them, it is just a matter of time. Theres no state income tax here in NV>
You can get a CCW.
Theres lots of great shooting here...IDPA, USPSA, sporting clays etc.  You can legally carry a loaded handgun in your vehicle because it's considered an extension of your home.No permit required for that. You need a CCW to carry on your person...easy to get so as long as you pass a background check.  And the number one reason to live in NV you can have as many fucking AW's as you want.
