Is it legal to link ammunition together? Or in CA?

In California, only up to 10 rounds. Anything more is a high capacity ammunition feeding device.

My understanding is that as long as your links are Pre-ban (made before 94) then they are the same as a high cap mag, and rock on. But with links made after 94 the limit would be 10 rounds. How the hell do you date a link and what if you mix em up??? [50]

I've seen links have MARKINGS/NUMBERS on each. However, what the numbers represent on each link is unknown. What about if not ammunition, but just empty brass link together?

Amouray, ammo linked together in more than 10 rounds is illegal in CaliBan. Claiming pre-ban will only get you a State paid stay with Big Dick as your roomie. Unless you have linked ammo with a receipt to show you purchased it before the ban. Once fired, don't even think of re-linking it with live ammo. You can link as many cases together as you like, you can even put bullets in the cases, you just can't link live ammo with more than 10 links.

According to CA DOJ, it is a big "NO" "NO". Empty cases, bullets are defind as AMMUNITION also.
