A co-worker of mine recently made the claim that it's illegal to own a gun if you live in Baltimore City.  First I've heard of this, and I've been unable to find any hard evidence supporting his claim.  I'm concerned, though, as I was planning to move within city limits in the near future and have no intention of getting rid of my toys.

Can anyone confirm or deny that my co-worker is full of it?

You can own a gun in Baltimore, just the MDSP will give you hell on your background check for regulated weapons.
