This kind of Socialist crap is what makes me take the train when I can.
Unfortunately, I have few options in Pensacola:
1) I cannot drive, because I doubt my vehicle would make it right now. Anyways, anytime I drive more than 500 miles I seem to blow a tire.
2) The train only comes through 3 times a week and those are during the week. So, I can't use the train to travel home for a holiday weekend. I do use it for Christmas, etc...but can't use it for weekend travel becuase the Sunset Limited doesn't pass though here on weekends.
3) Greyhound. Yeah, and spend another hour in that Shithole Slum known as Tallahassee. Every last bus fuels up there and none bypass it. So, we always have an hour or longer layover. And, Greyhound seems to have attracted every gangsta and hippie at FSU. Last time I was in there, There were 3 lines. 1 was going to South Florida, 1 to New York, and 1 to San Fransisco. In the New York line were 2 Mexicans and a South American. The Mexicans had 2 huge mule type bags and had just got off a bus from the Southwest US. Can anyone say drug runners ? In the line there were also several black teens wearing stocking caps and gang paraphanalia. In the San Fransisco line, there were a bunch of hippie College Professors and Students. God, I wanted to scream that the 60's ended 40 years ago at these morons. OH, and they limit the baggage size = I can only bring guns I can break down and fit in my baggage.
4) Airplane. Can fly out any day at almost anytime I choose as long as I fly through Atlanta. Flights to Atlanta are $39 right now if I remember correctly. The people in Pensacola Airport are cool. Rather than doing all this stupid crap, they search everybody's carry-ons at least once (This was just after 9-11, so it may have changed now). But, I got no trouble checking a Firearm. Jacksonville was the only place that gave me shit. Damn woman asked me why I needed a gun. Still had to get rid of 20 Rounds of ammo. becuase SW has a 120 Round limit. So, I gave it to a guardsman since it was .223. The woman at Ft. Lauderdale was nice, but ignorant about guns. She couldn't even figure out how to check the chamber of a shotgun (A Pump Shotgun).
