You guys wear name tags or something? I wouldn't know another AR15.com member without them wearing at least a T shirt. I've dropped the name at the range seeing if anyone else was a poster, but so far just Waverunner and Shrem, through arrangements through this board. EPDMedic is next.

I saw BHD with the lovely Mrs. Jarhead, lordtrader, mojo and colinjay. Here in Texas we have fairly regular meetings of the faithful.

Its always great to meet board members. I've had the pleasure of meeting most of the SoCal and NoTX crew. BHD was a pretty good mtg, we added colinjay to the mix

The only time I meet AR15.com members is down at Ottawa.
I shoot at Bristol every now and then, but still have yet to meet C-Rock. I think he's just a myth. Av. |

Haven't met any one from here yet, although I have been seeing the guys from VA post on here...even wore my Molon Labe hat at the gunshows here in Richmond and no one said a thing..maybe I need one of those AR-15.com T-shirts.

I met C-Rock last Memorial Day at Ottawa. He is a legend, not a myth! He is very likeable, definitely a "mover and shaker" among us. He loves this stuff so much he was kind of like a big lovable puppy bouncing around among the group of AR15.com'rs. Gunnut and Jr. were there, as well as Friz and a bunch of others my tired old brain can't recall. Of course, my wife and I caravanned up with ColtShorty and his sweet daughter. I met CS here and he happens to live in the next town. He has become a friend. I too am very excited about the BRC and was one of the first to register. The only thing that will keep me away is death or disability, and then only if it's my own. See you guys there!!! [:D] Edited: Jesus Balls! I forgot to mention AFARR! He, the god of 50 cals., allowed me [i]and my wife[/i] to shoot one of his .50 BMG rifles, with the result being, two blown up rocks on yonder hill, and the purchase, three months later, of our own State Arms Rebel. [:D] |

I actually came to find out that Spearweasel works in my building! Probably not more than 50 yards from me. I yap with him a lot on AIM. Haven't met any other local members, but I think it would be fun. If we had a local shoot, I'd definitely try to go. If any of the NoTex/Dallas area members get something together again, I may try to go. Unfortunately, I will miss the BRC this year, but will definitely try to be in attendance next year!

You guys are on the right track. I see alot of posts from Georgia. The only AR15.Com person I know is Tippie. I would like to know more here. I don't know yet if I will make the convention.

I've met about ten, or twelve members from northern IN through trades (probably know a LOT more from shows without realizing it). I've only met a few accidentally at the Willow Slough, Pulaski County (& BR in Ottawa) ranges. It always surprises me because I've never purposely brought AR15.com up, AND at least half were shooting something other than ARs (Usually the "junk" that everyone bitches about - Mini-14, & SKS, etc.). [;D] |
