Should all of this abuse of the CCW come as a surprise to anyone reading this board. I would like to add that a few years ago, the Sheriff of Orange County(home of Disneyland, 30 miles south-east of L.A.) was caught issuing CCWs to people who give to his relection campaign.

The common "battle cry" here in Calif. among those opposing the shall-issue CCW is that "we don't want to be like old wild west" prove that these "couch potatoes" people are watching too many Hollywood movies.

This is nothing new.  In EVERY state, most recently Michigan and currently Ohio, the anti's use this same old worn out BS.  It has never proven to be true, but they use it and the sheeple in whatever state never bother to look past their BS.
