Before I have one more and taper off, I better post this story. Tomorrow I am going to church, well really I am going to [i]a[/i] church. I am about as much of a non-believer as you can find but, I will go anywhere for food; remember Texas? I was invited to a "Beast Feast" tomorrow evening at a church down the road from the gunshop. I have heard about this before but, was never invited. It is put on by the members(a lot I guess are hunters) at no charge. Some of the menu I have heard: 3 types deer, elk, wild hog, polar bear, and others, russian caviar, all NW seafood, alligator, several African game meats, couger, all types of bird, and a bunch more. That sounds like fun. Ahh, I miss the days when the Church had manly saints like St. Hubert (the patron saint of hunters). I even miss the real St. Nicholas of Smyrna who was disciplined at the council of Nicea for literally kicking the $hit out of montanists. He's known as being the patron saint of children, but he's also known as the patron saint of prositutes and thieves. Ahh... those were the days!
