I'm looking for a good quality fixed blade with a blade length of under 4".  Preferably an IWB type sheath.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Chimborazo

Mike Snody small fixed blade, Strider http://www.tripleaughtdesign.com/strider1.htm like the TKA or AD, or maybe a cheap CRKT Stiff KISS.

Mad Dog!

The Mini Shrike is very nice, but a bit long at 4.9" blade length.

Now, if you're looking for something *really* concealeable to man AND machine, consider the MD Mirage-X Micro... ceramic and undetectable to xray.  Comes with neck sheath, and slip sheaths are available, I believe.   God help you if you try and take one on a plane these days! [:D]

The thing I don't like about CRKT fixed blades is that the ones that double as neck knives have the CRAPPIEST belt clips.

Ice, where did you get that?

Check out Wicked Knife Company. Newt Livesay makes some very functional and economically prriced knives. I have a couple of his neck knives and they are first rate. They probably won't win any beauty contests, but they do what they are designed for very well.

Offhand I remember one of knives in my SHTF cabinets is a skindiver knife. Don't remember the make but the exact knife was used in the last fight scene against Tom Cruise in the Mission Impossible 2 movie. Could be under 4 inches. Not sure. It could probably go through anything. Excellent quality and very sharp with a pointed tip. Nice plastic sheath.

What kind of cord is that on the handle of the Stiff Kiss?

I carry a Cold Steele Mini Tanto. I have had it for over 4 yrs. Still razzor sharp, no nicks, point still good. I also own a Cold Steele Magnum 9",6" both Tantos and a Tactical Cold Steele in black. Depends how much you want to spend and what you want to use it for.
