Well I do not have any kids (yet), but try this on for size and tell me if it works. Please let me know since I will be in your shoes someday.
How bout this: Explain a simple version of the Caous Theory. Jeff Goldbloom talkes about it in the first Jurasic Park movie. Since things around us are constantly changing... all be it just a little. Example the direction and speed the wind blows... the amount of sunlight were are recieving... the his height since he is contantly growing just a little 24-7. And snowflakes are so little and fragil they are effected by these changes more than you or he is. There for, if we think of the temperature of the air and the blowing of the wind as a cookie cutter; that is constantly changing shape. Then we see how we get different cookies every time. How's that for a try. Or you can just rent Jurrasic Park and let him learn while getting the HELL scared out of him. If anyone else reads this. Please let me know what you think. We are all impressed by your knowledge. Now how do you propose explaining that to a 7 year old? I don't think they have tought him about the atmoshpere or molicules yet. Just wondering |
