You need a expander wrench.

I would tell you about the time I removed
one with a pipewrench and alot of duct tape,
but thats a another story....

its pretty self explanitory. the only problem you might run into is if the stock is staked on.

if that's the case, i don't know what to due to break the stake w/out damaging anything.

if you plan on leaving the new stock on you might concider staking it.  Lotboy's was coming loose and i staked it for him.  anyway.. good luck.
