Wow, not very "pretty" but I guess it gets the job done. Are there other variations as far as design?

Not exacty an AR15 upper but take a look at this.  I know a handful of guys who have one and love it.  Heck of a deal too.

not much different from Watson's but might be cheaper, you'd have to check as my source says $1200 for the upper with a Bushnell Holo-Site (valued at $325).
