An of you guys familiar with the DPMS pre-ban stuff ?

I have a Rifle here with a serial number that seems to indicate pre-ban status, but I'm not sure...

I bought it thinking it is/was a post ban rifle at a post ban price...

Serial number is F0022##

No date anywhere on the lower...
Even looked under the grip...

Could it be a pre-ban with the letter in the serial number ?

I couldn't possibly be that lucky...

Call DPMS.  If I remember correctly, however, they didn't start making guns until they bought tooling from another company after the AW ban went into effect.  Unfortunately, I cannot remember WHERE I THINK I read this info, so it may not be accurate.  Bottom line, call DPMS!

I know mine is a postban because I bought it NIB 2 years ago. My serial is F0035##.
