Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 2 Line Telephone Switch For Long Distance Fax

I have a dedicated telephone line without long distance service for the puter. The problem is, if I want to fax outside of my local calling area, I have to switch wires in the modem to use the long distance service on the other line.

Is there a 2 line switch that would take care of this problem? Thanks for any help.

You can pick one up at your local RadioShack.  Part number is 43-433.  It retails for $14.99
