Each game has a "WON ID" which is verified for validity each time you log on to a server. Just go buy the game...it's cheap, and you end up with about 5 games in one once you DL all the free add-ons. |

I am Gladiator[911]. Here is my clans server ip.
204.162.121.200:27016 We run CSGAURD, Which catches almost every cheat out there, including the newest version of OGC 6.13(wallhack/aimbot/autoshoot). Gb, You may want to consider running that. Punkbuster doesn't work anymore. That was hacked last year. If your running adminmod(which you should do). Turn on flood control, otherwise people can crash the server using the admin "glow" command. You also may want to consider giving admin to some experienced people that have had admin before, and won't abuse the hell outa it. That will keep the trash talking down, and the cheaters out. Anybody is free to come and play on my clans server. If you have a cheat installed, don't come because you will be autobanned. Regards -Kc |

There are two lag hacks, One makes the other person lag, and the other makes you appear to lag, jumping around. Making you hard to shoot. I disagree about all hacks cause lag. OGC hacks on mildly fast computers (1ghz and up). Cause almost no lag at all. The cheats have gotten more advance in the last 6 months. They now exploit the .dll files unlike the old hacks which ran a huge .exe file. Wallhacks simply render the walls semi-transparent actually raises your fps because there is less detail. -kc |

RedGoat: that guy is a personal friend of mine and he doesnt cheat. He plays WAY too much and has played for years. (I started playing when the first beta came out and it was pistol only, so keep that in mind! I haven't played in two years though!) He is a GREAT guy...
[size=5][b]REGARDING ANTICHEAT!!![/b][/size=5] CSGuard is on the server and is supposed to be the BEST anti cheat out there. It's server side and it scans your pc for hacks. If it finds any, it will autoban you. This includes hacks that have not been installed!!! (Its amazing!!!) Nobody on the server is cheating, just remember that some of these guys do this all day long!!! It's like us taking them to a range where they cant hit the target from 100 yards and we're shooting the wings off of flies at 600!!! (Ok maybe thats just me... [=D]) Seriously, be nice in there, good servers attract good players and a few guys in there have been utterly amazing to watch in action. The fact that they go to an anti-cheat server and do this only makes them that much more impressive in my eyes. |

as of right now, no a competative clan. just the guys from here that play on the server. i played with colKlink, Turok i think, dan wsomething wesson, and a bunch of others under various tags. theres 3 that i saw:

I am a little confused about this, but it sounds like a good time. I think this Is for AR15.com members, only it's a video game that you play on your computer. What would I need to start playing at home? It sounds like a shooting game and I would love to try this if possible but I have never played a video that works on my computer other than bin laden liquors. I have a playstation in my sons room that I like to play hockey and racing games on. My favorite is a cool game called 'army men' that uses plastic army men to fight. It's really for kids but I kinda like it. If anyone wants to borrow this game just email me or IM. Thank you very much.

Counterstrike is a modification that uses the Half-life master game - it's a game within a game. You need to install the original Half-life game, then go on the web to any of the gazillion CS sites out there and download the 1.) latest patch to the master Half-life game, and 2.) the counterstrike modification itself (70MB or so). Install, then enjoy. You do need a fast connection and a pretty fast video card. I'm sure your son has friends who has the original game. |

Tattoo, the CSGuard keeps cheats off, so most likely someone saw you duck behind there and opened up on you...
Most of the times its luck in that situation... Just have fun and keep it in mind that no hacks and cheats make it into the server!!! It's now skill or luck that will beat you! ]=) |

Man, you need all need to quit wasting your time with CS and it's cheaters and play some Infiltration, a similar mod on a superior engine (Unreal Tourney, don't like UT's gameplay itself, but Inf rocks on...)
Inf has several sweet features. My favorite is that while carrying your weapon at the hip you have no crosshair. You can then shoulder your weapon and aim down the iron sights. Very sweet. Also, it has realistic recoil, IE you gun kicks up and off target, not just your crosshair spreads out like most games... It's also much more realistic than CS. They have a M16 in game with an ACOG scope you can add along with a M203 if you're so inclined, I can hear it calling ar15.commers.... [url]http://infiltration.sentrystudios.com/[/url] |

No, you need the orginal key. The server authenticates with WON so a bogus one won't work.
Earlier tonight some guy said we need to update the CSguard. I would have to agree, cause some of the activity was just a little too good. i.e. wallhacking, this was a bit weird cause he hadn't even seen or heard us yet, and another guy was getting like 3 kills in rapid succesion with only a short burst from the ak instantly after rounding a corner. well, enough complaining. you might want to look into the update though. |

I was on tonight with Darkhelmet and tattoo. A myg0t came on the server(a hacking clan). And spec hack and OGC. Myg0ts know the crack for csguard, but not many others do.
We need a few people to have admin on the server that can be responsible enough not to abuse it, and ban the cheaters on the spot. I also notice goatboy that you don't have flood control on. You need to put that on or people can crash the server. Regards -Kc ([ar15.com]Gladiator] |

Rcon control can be dangerous to give out. I'd make sure you only give it out to previous admins, and those who don't mind smack talk against them or others. That's half the fun of the game.
I'm good enough that people always wonder if I cheat :-). A 21" monitor @ 1600x1200, GEforce3, and a good mouse helps immensely. Especially with those long distance AK headshots! Quit for a while, with all the cheating, but I'm picking the reflexes up fast again. |

Yeah the server is cool but we need admin mod or another package. That way we can make some admins but limit thier power (using the rcon is prolly too powerful). Also I like the ability to do map votes and kick votes for afks and such. Finally lets take a poll here to see what maps we want. I for one think de_train and de_nuke need to go. I'd like to see Inferno.

If you want to email me the myg0t info I'll look into it and send it off to the csguard guys... I'll also check if a new version is available.
We had the admin mod on there, but I hate that POS... heehee I miss running on a Linux box with HLDS_LD... (way better!) As for RCON to the server, don't expect it too soon. I don't mind deputizing a few people, but it always seems to bite me in the ass because there is no way to "KNOW" someone is cheating and it usually ends up being someone I know who is just a great player... I played early last night for a bit with the guys... my pings gone from 100 to 150 so it takes some tweaking on my part to stabalize my connection... I hate lagging up for 2-3 seconds in the middle of a fight and come back dead. [=D] |

can i nominate myself for a "deputy" im ususally on most days, and im not an irrational guy im not into kicking/banning as much as changing maps, etc. to cater to the people online at the time. like the first night that a :) was on, everyone was bitching that he was a ha40r, but i played on his team for a while and he said he knew you goatboy, and he proceede to say that he kept vide of his games if he wanted people to see. also he told me tips n tricks on each level and what and where to look for people to show up. most would have just kicked him. oh, i dont cheat at all (no one would think so from my skillz either) so anyone who wants to second my nomination feel free otherwise you can all laugh at me because i have no friends colinjay |

(Except [myg0t]z1pp3r who actually admitted to it). His was very blatant cheating. I can usually tell a good player from a cheater.... Perhaps we need a small system of checks and balances in place.. so I propose: Deputize a small number of players who are paying AR15.com members. Say 10-15 at the very most. Anyone that we feel strongly is cheating can be banned but we must e-mail the info on anyone we ban so that you can make the final call. If one of the deputies is banning a lot of people then you can strip them of their badge. I don't suspect very many will have to be banned by RCON since CSGuard will get most of them before they reach the server. Now that I'm done being bitter about the few who do cheat.
