I keep 2 mags loaded up with Speer Gold Dot +P 124gr JHP for my Taurus.

I don't have a 357, but In my 38 I keep Hydra-Shocks for.

As far as a .45, Don't have one yet.

IMHO, the best thing you could do especially with an auto loader is try each brand for functionality and accuracy, after you break it in.

For 357 mag I have Federal 158 gr Hydra shock.

For 45 Auto I have Remington 230 Golden Saber.

I don't know anything about 9mm

The IWBA has all the scientifically based info you need:  http://www.iwba.com

Also, FirearmsTactical is a *great* source of info as well:  http://www.firearmstactical.com

And, finally, this post will clarify the issues pretty well regarding 9mm recs: http://64.177.53.248/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000169.html.  Bottom line, is:

"All of the following 9mm loads offer acceptable terminal performance for law enforcement and defense use: Fed 147 gr JHP (9MS & P9HS2), Rem 147 gr JHP (R9MMS & GS9MMC), Win 127 gr +P+ JHP (RA9SXTP), Win 147 gr JHP (RA9147HP, X9MMST147, RA9SXT, RA9T)"

There's more, and can be had by searching for the user "DocGKR" at www.TacticalForums.com .  Fascinating reading!

DScott thanks for the site I was always told to stay away from 147gr 9mm ammo because it has a bad rep.

Also has anyone seen any reports for that Aguila I.Q. ammo ? I had some for my old 1911 type 45acp and it hated them I could not go through one mag with out it jamming I think the round was to light for that old gun. But I have not seen anything published about at all. If you ever get to look at the 45acp round of this ammo the hole in the bullet will blow your mind .
