80,000 deprived urban post-secondary students in my province have no one to teach them gun usage, safety, shooting sports including hunting, and pro-firearm politicking. I aim to change that. Does anyone on this board have advice or experience with starting and running a firearm related student group? Got a sample constitution/bylaws for a similar group that might help me out? I figure about ten dedicated folks can reintegrate the concept of firearm possession back into student life at this university. Students, professors, help me out here - is it common in other areas that university students can lay out tens of thousands for a four-plus year 'education' which does not involve even a passing familiarity with the rudimentary basics of firearm safety? Not even Eddie the Eagle??

Go to the NRA web site! It has a lot of good info on starting clubs and training.
