Me and my dad watch them every weekday at 7pm on AMC. Man are they funny! And after 60 or so years they still are. Who else is a big fan?
My mom is always saying "why do you think they are funny?" women just don't understand [:D]

The question is not are they funny, But which one is the funniest. [:D]

There was a comedy show about twenty years ago that originated from the Left Coast called 'Fridays.' It was supposed to be the West Coast's answer to Saturday Night Live.

Anyway, one of the charecters on the show was
Michael Richards (Cosmo Kramer from the Seinfield Show) who was hilarious!

But one of the skits they did was a parody of the Three Stooges.

The three commedians who portrayed the parts of Larry, Moe and Curly were excellent, but it was apparent that even though they could act almost like 'Howard-Fine-Howard' there was still something missing...

What their skits impressed me with the most is the unbelievable amount of effort that must have gone into each Three Stooges skit!

Of course I love the Stooges!  What real man doesn't?  They are frat house stupid.  Does anybody think that Belushi didn't study Curly for his role in Animal House?

That brand of slapstick is so damn funny I still laugh my keester off and I was watching the same shows about...(forget it, it will date me!), well, when TVs were black and white and named Dumont or Hoffman (You could look them up!).

My wife on the other hand will come in the room and look quizically at my son and I watching the Stooges and ask us how we could possible like something so ridiculously moronic and silly.

Easy...its a guy thing.  I just ask her why she stays glued to Lifetime.  Ever wonder that?  You know...that's the channel where all women, kids, animals, minorities, and gays are all exploited and hurt by evil men?  At least we laugh.  Is that why women are always so pissed off at us?

I used to watch them all of the time when I was a kid. Did anyone else see the docudrama abou the Stooges on ABC last year? It was really interesting at how they got their start and then how the studio majorly screwed them out of the profits. Moe eventually ended up working as a parking attendant at the studio until there was the big resurgence with the Stooge movies.

I saw some of that docudrama. I think it was interesting how they were always mad that they never got a feature lenght film.

RayVet,my friend,i gotta tell you that you are wrong! My GF of the last 4 yrs knows more about the 3 Stooges than most people. She has a Stooge collection that I envy, she even has a autobiography of Larry Fine's and there are only a couple of them known to be in existance.                                       We went to the only West Coast Stooge Convention a couple of years ago,and every year we go see them on the big screen at the Alex Theatre in Glendale.                                         BTW-my GF even has 2 tattoos of the Stooges. Man o man.

The 3 stooges are my all time favorites.

To me you can't pick just one....they are all 3 (the original ones Larry, Moe and Curly) so hilarious in their own unique ways that picking out the funniest one is not possible.

I love the one where Curly eats the Mothball Bon-Bons.

Their slapstick routines are priceless.  The only weakness in their comedy shorts is usually the ending.  It seems that the writers had no clue how to end the story, so most of the shorts wind up with the weakest gag in the whole flick.
My stepson and I watch them every night on AMC, and we bought a boxed set of tapes at Xmas.

I like AMC, but their format is changing slightly.  They used to show ALL "classics" such as Rita Hayworth and Audrey Hepburn stuff.  Just last week they showed "Predator" with Arnold.  Now I like "Predator" and all, but WTF is it doing on AMC?

To top it off, they show commercials now.  Sometimes during the movie!  Guess they lost a private donor or two.  If I had major $$$$, I would surely fund AMC so they don't have to show crappy commercials.

Oh ya, Three Stooges on AMC is cool because it's "classic".  Moe is the most violent of them all.

Those stooges sure had some hot womenz back then.

I am a graduate of N.Y.U.K. University.
