North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has tracked Santa every Christmas Eve since it was founded in 1958. As of just a few moments ago, Santa Claus was located near Stonehenge, and he's headed west boys and girls! This is a great website to show the kids.

No, he zig-zags because if he flew in a straight line he wouldn't be able to visit everywhere. Don't you know anything? How old are you anyway? [;)] Check out the earlier Santacam over the Persian Gulf. Santa was escorted by helos and Tomcats flying over our aircraft carriers. [:)]

UPDATE! -- Santa Claus has zig-zagged his way through central and South America and has now entered North American airspace! He was last sighted near Newfoundland, and he appears to be making his way across the North American continent.

Guzzler, that one African stop wasn't in Africa at all. It was a stop at the international space station.

sgtar15, of course Santa was delivering gifts to our guys! [;)] I have it on good authority from someone very high up the chain of command at NORAD that Santa tossed some bombs over the side while flying over Tora Bora. [<|:D>]

Yeah, my kids are really into it too. We've visited every place Santa has been umpteen times already. [:)] They're so excited I don't think it will be easy getting them to sleep tonight.

Latest UPDATE -- Canada scrambled two F/A-18 fighters to intercept Santa and escort him through Canada. Santa gave them a thumbs up and headed south to NYC. A NORAD pilot radioed that he saw a tear rolling down Santa's cheek as he left New York.

I remember listening to Paul Harvey on the radio tracking Santa on Christmas Eve when I was a kid, before Al Gore invented the internet. If Santa was being tracked by radar he must be real! [:)]

Well, the kids and I tracked the last few legs of Santa's ride, from Chicago to NORAD headquarters near Colorado Springs to San Francisco. The bay area looks foggy tonight, but Rudolph's red nose will guide the way. The jolly old elf is zig-zagging up and down the west coast now, so the kids and I left out some milk and brownies, then they were off to sleep and dream about bionicles, super heroes, and the magic of Christmas.
