Hoppe's #9, a most wanting fragrance.

Chaingun's Daily Tip
Dab a few drops behind each ear, and you'll be in free drink heaven at the local sports bar. [;D]

WAIT A MINUTE!  Drakkar is what my wife bought me!

Sheesh, maybe I should wear it...

Maybe she's trying to tell you something...[:)]

Actually, I've gotten QUITE a few "flirty" comments from other women when I wear that stuff...
Seems to work pretty good if you ask me...
Never got any comments when I splashed on the Aqua Velva...

Be careful with that Drakkar, it could get you into trouble...[:)][sex]

Hoppe's has kind of a "burn the nostrils" smell to it that I don't like.  Personally, I believe that Bench Rest 9 smells better than regular Hoppe's.  CLP as a cool, non-caustic smell to it that is much easier to be around all day cleaning guns.  And the spray attachment makes precision scent placement so much easier.

Old style Break Free, the sweet smelling version. Other than that, anything that contains tolulene in a plastic bag.

Hoppes... love or hate the smell, but whenever I open a bottle I go from 40-something to 9 years old again, learning the mystery of the gun and the ritual of cleaning from my Grandfather.  The odor of Hoppes is well-used and cared for Winchester rifles, S/S shotguns, plaid wool, and campfires...

Gotta go with the Breakfree. Hoppe's is nice for a while, but I'd rather smell CLP all day.

Hoppes #9, of course.

Plus it brings back memories. When I was in my teens my mother used to say it smelled like her father's guns. Has that stuff been around since before 1930?

I can only use it outside in the garage.
