Wonder how long he'll remain in business with an intact door and inventory. It seems like a Republican in the White House hasn't changed anything in the ATF... http://www.pilotonline.com/news/nw1204bob.html

10 to 1 that the ATF will trump up some charges, bust down his door and seize his records and possibly him and/or his inventory at gun point.

I suppose all domestic issues fall by the wayside and we just overlook them because there's a war on... [rolleyes] If your complaining about my post with your above response, read it again. If so, I didn't b**ch about anything. Just stating what appears to be a fact. That the ATF seems to not be accountable to anyone or any institution. And btw, how many months has GW been in office? A bit longer than this war has been happening. I would also think the AG has his hands full. Maybe that's why the ATF pulls this stuff thinking they will be overloked. If GW and Ashcroft were real friends of gunowners, and GW is a "mans man" like he is made out to be then just saying the word to lay-off is all it would take. Last I checked he's still the boss.

Sent him a support letter bot this reply back: Dear Steven, Thank you so much for e-mailing and wishing me good luck in my fight with A.T.F. over their attempt to register my store's used guns. It's going to take time (time I've got, I hope!) money (have enough for this fight, thanks if you were wondering) and patience (not my strong-suit but I'm working on it). Should I win or lose, I fully expect retaliation from ATF in the way of a harrassing audit where they will pick my firearms records apart looking for errors. Don't worry, those records are in pretty good shape, and I feel very confident that the Firearms Owners Protection Act of 1986, and common sense, will prevail. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to write, and for your encouragement. I will e-mail you again with the court's decision as soon as it is reported. Robert Marcus

Let's all pray that Bob wins...although most likely it will just end up with him in prison and his shop closed.

Bobs shop is one of the shops I go to. Bobs a nice and honest guy. The only thing is his shop is not in the nicest area. You could say its right on the outskirts of a "ghetto". Which is by no means his fault. His shop has been there since I can remember. He has a good backing in this area. He's correct though about how the ATF will more then likely try to trump up some insane charge against him. -Karl
