My guess is it was a HK G11.

the factory workers were saying that it was an 'automatic weapon' but injuries looked like shotgun wounds.  Sounds like the factory workers don't know the difference between and 'automatic weapon' and a shotgun to me.  Common sense?  No such thing, it's actually 'common ignorance.

My guess would be a full auto 10/22 and a .38 with a hellfire trigger device.

It was a Nerf spud gun hand crafted out of PVC, belt fed, with trijicon night sights.

Jeezus Imbroglio, I thought you were smarter than that.

We all know that the G11 never made if far past the prototype phase when it was beat out in the ACR program by the M41a Pulse Rifle.

So I bet it was a M41a in 10mm explosive tipped caseless.  The 40mm over and under grenade launcher (loaded with shot shells in this case) was probably mistakenly identified as a shotgun...

Yes. "Purchased at a gun show without benefit of a background check, which normally saves a gazillion children a day."
