I should have about $11,000 to spend on some toys after the first of the year. Now I'm in a dilemma as to what to buy. Do I drop a huge chunk on something like an MP5, or what I was initially planning on buying, a 1919A4. Or do I get a bunch of cool little things like a semi-1919 and a lightning link and maybe a Vector UZI and a few preban rifles, lots of ammo etc...? I'm getting the wife a new car already, so I can pretty much blow this on whatever I want without repercussion. What would you do?

I would suggest a penis extension.

So you are saying you would sink the majority of it in one BIG item right?

I'd get a Vector Uzi and the cleanest M16A2 I could find with the remainder. Ammoman's gonna LOVE you!!!![:D]

Well, if you´d live here, you would get a truck full of FA toys..but since you are over there, an M16 type weapon would be a must, the Vector UZI is a good choice. The MP5 prices there seem to be skyhigh, so getting an M16 of somekind, there is still plenty to spend.

A Glock each day will keep the neighbors away. Buy one of every Glock on the market. HAHAHAHAHA

I invest enough...this is "play" money. The only second thoughts I'm having about getting the 1919 is because I don't really have a good place to go shoot it. I would hate to invest that much money in something that I would rarely get to use. I guess I could get a lease on the Trinity River range and just make the trip though. I hadn't really thought about a .50BMG. I would really like to have one of the Barrett bolt actions, but I hate to think about getting a bolt gun, even in .50BMG, when I could spend that same amount of money on an UZI or Sten, or two semi-1919s. I really don't know what to get, there is so much cool stuff out there to buy.

You could probably pickup two of those 'realdolls' and some clothing. [;)]

Defiantely an m16.. if you are going to shoot it a lot no need for a colt.. a vector for sure and you could suppress them both ;) then buy the necessities for each with your left over $$.. lots of mags.. ie beta c and lots and lots of ammo.

I would get yourself a nice M16 and deck it out with all the toys you want and spend the rest on ammo and mags! medcop

If I get a registered receiver M16 I want it to be a factory Colt machinegun, not a conversion. I already have an AC556 and a couple of SWD M11/9mms, so I could do without the Colt M16 till next year. That is why I was thinking lightning link, so I could play with it for a year or so and then dump it and use the cash towards an M16. I'm worried about the price skyrocketing on the 1919s that looks like it may have already started. I think in a year or two it will be an over $10K gun. I'm definately going to get maybe $800-1000 worth of Mausers and M44s. I've always wanted to just have a huge rack or rifles lined up along the wall. Plus, I really like the C&Rs and the history that goes along with them. I guess a Vector UZI is probably a must buy because they are devalued right now until Vector runs out of new ones. There is just so much stuff I want to get and there is no telling when I will have this much extra $$$ to spend on myself again....

If I could find a real Humvee within my budget I would snap it up. The only ones I ever see are like $40,000. Don't have that kind of money for toys yet....

Macloud shows an interesting one - a 1917 Browning. Phil Miller has a nice looking one for sale for $12,200 and also shows an HK51B for $11,500. Check it out albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumList?u=1803420 In your shoes, I'd go for a full auto 1919 or 1917. A few more years and you'll be kicking yourself for not buying one sooner. Even if you don't have somewhere to shoot it regularly, you won't be sorry. I only take mine out a couple times a year, but when I do, its a couple thousand rounds, and its always worth it. The Brownings are appreciating better than most 16's and Uzi's and they're getting harder to find. They ain't up to M60, MG34 or MG42 rates yet, but it won't be long. Hell, I bought two of them about two or three years ago for less than one would cost you now. An ANM2 is a real screamer for about $10k (spend the rest on spare parts and a good mount). A nice collectable Colt would be good too. You'll never lose on a factory M16, especially an A2 or 635. You could do a factory A1 and possibly have enough left for a Barrett M82A1. A good MP5 conversion will do you well also. For $11k you could get a decent sear gun, maybe even an SD, and have enough left over for a sear ready 33, 53, 91, or 51. Quad .50 (oops broke the price cap sorry ponyboy) twin M11a1's in a holster setup. This is got to be one of the most under-rated subguns around. ($3000) pre-86 colt m16 done up in a 11" CAR then a les baur tactical to round it off in a dillon SOB holster. A one man gopher getter to say the least

M16 with happy mode and a bolt action 50 cal. Or save it towards a M60... Ropes
