I just heard, over the radio, the new Davis Fu*kup with now too much power for an estimated 9 years.  They plan to sell 1/3 of power, during the slow periods, at a loss.  Osama Ben Davis just took $50k donations from power companies for his re-election campaign, and claims "these companies were not the gougers"

If they keep an open market, the consumer would have paid more during the power shortage, but would reap the reduced cost benefits today.
