Does anyone know where I can get some good comm equipment, like whats supposed to fit in the CFP90 and other field packs?

Depends on your definition of 'good' and 'cheap'...

Good and cheap and light and compact: FRS transceivers.  CAN$100 gets you a nice one with vibrate alert.  Nicer than yelling and smoke signals but only 0.5w so limited range - figure a mile or less.

Better and cheaper but heavier and less compact: CB walkie talkies and base units.  Bought my last one used for 99 cents.

Best, and with a much longer range: Yaesu/Icom HF&2m mobile rigs with a 12v gel cell.
