I was flipping channels in my usual insomnia induced late night/ early morning marathon tv stupor and found this childhood tv gem.

Who else remembers tv shows they watched as a kid (provided you were a kid in the early 70's)?

For me, it was these, in no particular order.

Gomer Pyle, USMC.
Mission Impossible.
Gunsmoke.
Green Acres.
I Dream of Genie.
Mod Squad.
Room 222.
Adam 12.

There were more, but these come to mind first.  So, who else here is an old fart?

How about this one.  I can't remember the name, but it was about 2 astronauts that went back in time and brought a family of cavemen to the present time.  There was also one show about some old guys Dad.  It seems he was frozen in a glacier and then thawed out.  Went to live with the son and thats when the trouble begins.

   Vulcan94

 Oh, let's don't forget, "Startrek"

  and "Batman".

That show was called "It's About Time". It didn't last long, but was aired around 1969 or 1970.

Gus,  Thanks for the title!  When I read your post, It jogged my memory.  Theme song== "It's about time, It's about space, It's about two men of the Human Race".  It's amazing what little bits of trivia are stuck in the depths of our minds!  [:D]

I could be wrong, but I thought it was:
"It's about time, It's about space,
about two men in the strangest place,
blah, blah, blah,
It's about two astronauts, it's about their fate,
It's about a woman and her prehistoric mate."?
