post another shot of the new baby, Lauren.

When I was single, I remember I used to get sick of looking at baby pictures and listening to baby stories, so I promise not to bore everyone with more.

Well, at least for a while. he he :)

Mattja, as one father to another, I NEVER get tired of looking at other people's children if they are willing to show them.  It reminds me that there are parents out there who understand what a blessing and great responsibility raising children is.  BTW, she's gorgeous!

Be sure to take lots of pictures, as they change so quickly.  Since we're showing off children, I'll post an example of my own.

This is my daughter Haley the day she was born:

Here she is at about 9 months old:

And here she is this last summer in Dallas at 2 and a half:

They change so much that you have to get lots of pictures.

God Bless Texas

Thaanks for the nice thoughts all! :)

GodBlessTexas, she's a cutie. Man, what are you going to do when she wants to date in HS? I'm thinkin' no dates except in groups until graduation, but it's probably wishful thinking on my part!

I've probably got 10 gig worth of kid pics of my 2 3/4 year old boy.  He's a real charmer as well.  Congrats on the newbie!!!  I don't know if it's your first or not, but if it is, only one piece of advice....  "Sleep when she sleeps".  Trust me on this one.

Oh yea,  "God Bless Texas", what'ya say we set up the youngsters to a blind date in about 25 years from now?

They should almost be old enough to date by then. [:D]

I'll show pics of my sweetie to anybody who will look!  I love to dream about what she'll be like when she gets older, what she'll accomplish, etc.  Kids give your life new meaning, that for sure!  Are y'all ready?

Late one night at a fall cookout at Mom & Dads with her cousin, Liza (on the left in the top photo)....

We got the DARE ID card at the county fair - she was 14 months old at the time, and soooooo dainty!  I dwarf her at 5'9" & 140lbs!

A burning cross or person?  That's funny.  There's a campfire pit in the background, and all you can see of the fire is the tips of the flames.

Daughters are awesome!!.  My daughter (who I just caught trying to get into mama's vitamin bottle and eat them) is now 2.5 years.  Loves to hear about "rifle hunting & bow hunting stories".  My wife and I took her to Camp Perry when she was 6 weeks old, then took her camping in Potoski MI for a week after that.  It's amazing how much they love to do stuff with their parents.  Just take it all in.  My daughter loses little cute ideosyncrasies every day as she grows up.  Don't get me wrong, it's great they grow up, but my wife and I miss her being small already.  For example, she used to say "busth", now she says "bus", or "bess you Papa" has become "bless you Papa".  You don't get that stuff back unfortunately, 'cept maybe if you get to Heaven.

Man, you don't want to see my big ass humping in the wind. There must be recessive genes involved here, cuz I don't know how an ugly fat geek like myself could produce such a cutie.

She's our first and she's daddy's little princess forever. Man, I hope I don't spoil her. :)
