I Voted for GWB and I did so because he had done some good things for Gun Owners in Texas. And now he is our Prez. And Cheney is a well known Pro 2nd kind of guy. And I'm glad Bubba is gone.
Now: Bush HAD BETTER do the right thing by us as far as the 2nd Amendment is concerned, 'cause if'n he don't, come 2004, I'll Vote for ANYBODY but a Stinking Damn Republican--And I'll even Vote Hillary just to get back at those Republicans--And I let them know it too!
And I think we should ALL let the Republican Reps and Senators in our Home Towns, County and State know it!
If the Republicans expect to survive as a Party--Then do the RIGHT DAMN THING for the people who put them IN OFFICE or we will PUT THEM OUTTA OFFICE in 2004--and then all of them and their hangers-on will have to try getting jobs in Private Industry.
Tell them McDonalds and Wal-Mart will hire them, 'cause we won't!
And as for the NRA and GOA, Etc., They had better Push for Rollbacks of these so-called "Gun Laws" and Push Now--The same goes for them...Push Hard or I'll never Join their Organizations again--Let 'em Wither & Die and the next time I see Heston, LaPierre and Larry Pratt, I'll be wearing my Steel-Toed Work Boots and I'll give them all a hard kick in the Ass...They had better Push the Bush Administration for a Pro 2nd Ruling re: the Emerson Case and a Certain U.S. Supreme Court Hearing on Appeal of the Emerson Case.
If the Supreme Court decides in Favor of the 2nd, "The Brady Law" and Most of the other Illegal "Gun Control Laws" will collapse under their own Unconstitutional Weight long before Brady's Sunset Date of Sept. 2004.
And don't give me that Defeatist Attitude about Bush and the Republicans' not willing to do anything for our Gun Rights and our Liberties. Some of you here seem to accept that they won't do anything for you or your Gun Rights--Why, I don't know. And yet you voted for these Bastards.
I don't want to read any Whimpering and Whining Posts about this...Some of you Cry and Moan like Old Women...

Pretty much think W is kicking ass and taking names so far.  He doesn't seem to give a damn about the media or the Dems.  But he darn sure ought to here from US often when he does good things, don't you think??????!

Gun rights is not the only issue with the Republicans. There are other issues such as education, defense, etc. in which I prefer the Republican point of view over the idiotic liberals. However, I think in this last election gun rights was the issue that brought the Republicans to the White House. Therefore, it's up to us to continually remind them why they are where they are now.

There's only one problem with this theroy...
When your from Maryland, ALL your Reps are stinking Democraps! Sarbans, McClusky, and Hoyer, all Demos. But the beauty to e-mail is that I can voice an opinion to their offices all at one time [:)], and I do so on a regular basis just to piss them off! [:P]

Adam schiff (local demo) came to my kids school for a little brainwashing session. They asked for a release slip to be signed in case they wanted to use my kids for ads. I filled out that slip with what I thought about his views on the second amm.. We actually traded a few letters back and forth on this issue with neither gaining any ground. I`ll give him credit for answering his mail, but thats it. He claimed to hunt as a child, but that`s not for the new generation, also there`s no need for an assault weapon for any reason period, a few other perverted idea`s.
They wouldn`t let me in for the talk at the school, I said I wanted to know what my kids are being taught/ told. They no it`s just a lecture no nead to get bent. So I went in and got my kids(3) out of school for the day and told any that would listen why.
They still are a bit aprehensive of me.

Not to start a flame war or anything, but I think there are those of us that are putting to much faith in GWB.

Don't get me wrong, I voted for him too (didn't matter, my electoral votes went to the other guy), but I do believe that he went on record saying that he supported some of the new firearms laws.

From where I stand, that means to me that he probably won't pass any new laws, but he probably won't repeal any of the old ones either.  [:(]

Heard  Alan Gottlieb, chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms on the Radio talking about the Emerson Case. Gottlieb says it will be decided on in the next few weeks--The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is waiting for an Attorney General, hopefully Ashcroft, to be named. If the 5th Circuit gives a Pro 2nd Amendment Ruling it still may go to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Should the Supreme Court give a Constitutional Boost in Favor of the 2nd, Many, Most or All so-called "Gun Laws" that have been on the Books since 1968 will instantly become Illegal.

According to Gottlieb, Under a Bush Regime and an Ashcroft Justice Department if the 5th U.S. Court of Appeals decides in favor of Emerson and the 2nd, all Ashcroft has to do is NOT CHALLENGE IT. In that case all the States that comprise the 5th District will see many "Gun Control Laws" Bite the Dust.

For those of us NOT LIVING IN THE 5th DISTRICT, the 5th District's Intepretation will be used as Strong Legal Prescedent to Sue an Anti-Gun City, County or State for having Unconstitutional "Gun Laws" on their Books. This is a Legal and Constitutional Sledge Hammer we currently don't have--A Pro 2nd Decision from the 5th District will give us that Sledge Hammer!

In the mean time expect Hci, Inc., and the other Socialist-Nazi Groups to Scream Like Pigs and take it to the U.S. Supreme Court on Appeal--I expect Rehnquist, Scalia, Thomas, O'Connor, and Kennedy to give us the Victory we all have wanted for all too long.
Just as they gave GWB his Victory over that Socialist Swine Gore.

We gotta hang tough and let our Republican Politicians know what we want and let 'em know now and throughout the next 4 years...and let them know if they don't give it to us, come 2004 and they come begging for our Votes, they can all go Phuck Themselves....And tell 'em, THEY did nothing for OUR Rights over 4 years and now WE won't do ANYTHING for THEM and we will not VOTE for them....
