To all the guys who wrote Ju52:

I dont believe you guys that you ever flew in a real Ju 52, nope Sir.

Why? The Ju52 has not been in production since iirc 1932 and NONE survived WW2.

There are however at least 3 flying REAL Ju52/3m ( 3m is the 3 engined version of the originally single engined Ju 52 ). None of them in the US tho. The only flying originals are property of Ju-Air in Duebendorf, Switzerland. Located at the Duebendorf AFB.

The other Junkers flying around, including no 4 of Ju Air are CASA copies, not German originals.

Yeah, I know I am a nitpick

And yes, I flew with them twice while visiting

First plane I flew in was a Piper Tripacer in 1954. Oldest a Steerman or a DC3.

Shakiest: C123 from Quang Nai City to Danang. I thought that thing was going to shake the wings off.

I got my commercial in a 1948 Bonanza. Electric prop was slow as molases. Plan your go around accordingly!

I worked on a 1929 New Standard once.

WWII troop plane.  It was a jump plane for skydivers.  I wouldn't consider boarding it with a parachute on my back......
