Just got back from the hospital.

Please let me introduce you to our first child, Lauren Kelly.

Born November 15th at 9:34 PM. 8 lbs., 7.4 oz., and 20 inches of baby girl. Everything is looking good. Mommy and baby are okay.

I am stoked. Been a little misty eyed all night.

Long day. Labor began at 8:00 AM. Can't think -- gotta sleep.

I am a lucky man. :)

Congradulations I had my first child also a girl on June 10 of this year. Suprisingly she was 8lbs 8oz. and 20" at birth at 4 months she was 16lbs 4 oz. and 27" long we think she is going to be tall. glad to hear everyone is OK

Cherish every precious moment you get to spend
with her. Remember, she's only on loan to you from God until she grows up. When she becomes an adult, and you have to give her back to Him
to take care of you'll have to answer for what

Congrats. Our daughter is 19 now. We've had a couple of bad years.She had some problems that I won't go in to, but she's doing better. Love her, talk to her, listen to her, and you'll do ok. They grow up fast. Take lots of pictures. Its gonna be quite a ride.

Thanks a lot everyone. Man, I am so stoked! She's already in the 2-3 hour feed and sleep cycle. Mommy and baby come home Monday, so that's when the fun begins. I get the feeling my sleep cycle is about to be turned upside down. I guess on the bright side I'm still unemployed so I don't need to get a full nights sleep anyway!

mags, I's aleady gray and wrinkled. :)

shadowjack1, I better take the 5th on that one! It took me 3 years to fall in love with the wife, but the first time I saw baby I got misty eyed and fell instantly in love.

platform389, I'm not so old-fashioned. She can be Babe of the Day in 2018 if she likes. :)

AR_Lvr, congrats to you too bro! If we're lucky they won't join MMM, right?

brouhaha, "It's for the children is right"! She can have one FAL and one AR when she turns 18! I have to save some for the other kids, God willing! he he

The next question is: how do you raise a girl in this day in age so that she's God fearing, doesn't use drugs, or get pregnant at 15? I can handle the firearms training, but those other things worry me. Man, I am so scared... [>(]

Congratulations and all the best to you and your family . I have two girls 1 and 3 , I love them dearly and would do anything for them . I can't wait till I can take them shooting and all the stuff dad does . My 3 year old already goes to the race track with me and even watches racing with me on TV .

Man, I didn't sleep very much last night. Is this a long-term trend or something that only lasts a couple of months? But she does sleep pretty sound most of the time.
