So I start having this craving for a Hostess Ding Dong.  I go to the local grocery, and none.  I go to Wal-Mart, and none.  I go to the store by my office.......... none.  Did I miss something?  WHERE CAN I BUY SOME DING DONGS????

Try 7-11 or any other convenience store.

Now, just to be sure, do you want a post-ban Ding Dong or a pre-ban Ding Dong? Don't let somebody nail you on the price - do some serious research before you jump into this [;)]

Be aware that they are sometimes sold as "King Dons."  Same wholesome goodness, different name.

Always liked Chocodiles then HO HO's best.  Ding Dongs were somewhere below Twinkies.  Convenience stores are your best bet.  Look for a Bakery outlet somewhere nearby for awesome prices (about 1/5 what convenience stores charge).

There used to be a little Italian cafe in St. Louis that had these cakes of layered white cake, chocolate mousse in between, covered with a light mocha-chocolate, and with a coffee bean on top.

They looked like a large, light brown Ding Dong and were heavenly...

FYI  I saw over on Bowers board someone WTT some Ding Dongs for some Little Debbie oatmeal pies.

I just bought two 12 pack boxes of Ding Dongs this morning. They are my favorite snack because I can use the foil wrappers to reinforce my Al foil hat.

Chocolate, sugar and preservatives -the perfect food group!

Ding Dongs were better when they were wrapped in foil.  Now they've cheaped out and use plastic.  They don't seem to taste as good now [V]

Unless they've changed in the last month, they still use foil to wrap the 24-pack Ding Dongs that I get at CostCo.

N.B. -- the "King Dons" are the post-ban Ding Dongs.  No attached grenade launcher or sexually suggestive name ("Hey, honey, wanna eat my ding-dong?").

Ding dongs and Ho-hos are things that are better in memory than reality I think.  Maybe I just can't handle the sugar anymore.

I just finished off some Ding Dongs in the white plastic wrappers.

Noticed they were blowed up like a balloon when I opened them.    After I finished off a couple, my Daughter asked what the White Fuzz growing on the bottom was!

Well spent the next couple hours on the throne...need a phone line in there!

Watch out for swollen ding dongs!

Oh man, Ding Dongs in the foil wrapper, straight from the freezer.... Peeling off the chocolate, sucking out the cream filling, eating the cake. With a big glass of milk.

Oh to be a kid again.
