Can anyone identify what this is mounted on the Isreali's rifle? P.S.-I'd have a 30 rounder in that if I were him. Makes for a better killing experience instead of having to beat someone w/ an unloaded rifle.

I'm sorry, but I can't much tell. I just couldn't pass up saying something about how good it makes me feel seeing an armed citizen protecting a fellow Israeli in prayer at the Wailing Wall! Eric The(ReckonJesusWalkedPastThoseStones?WereTheyTheStonesThatWouldHaveCriedOut...?)Hun[>]:)]

It looks like a holo-sight of some kind. Not sure exactly which kind though. God Bless Texas

Post it over in the GFD. It looks like a sight that I saw not to long ago that the Israeli's use. Big(IWouldHaveItLoaded!)Dozer66 [:D]

I think that's a "Falcon" red dot sight. He might as well leave the rifle unloaded; with the way it's slung across his back, he won't be able to put it into action quickly anyway.

It's a Falcon EBIT sight

While I have to agree that he unloaded rifle is not too practical, I would bet that the guy has a Browning HP (unloaded chamber, loaded mag) on the front of his belt. AFARR

It's a reflex red dot sight mounted on a M4 (?). The mag are out of the mag well because the man is approaching the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem to pray. It's not allowed even for soldiers to put in public places the magazine inside the well unless on duty. The "tallit katan" and the shirt indicates that the man is a civilian, probably a settler. Everyone that has a rifle (issued by the IDF, in Israel you can't privately own rifles)is supplied with two 30 rounders to be put inside in case of.
