Don't buy that Artillery Luger with snail drum and shoulder stock. $1100 is more than you should spend right now.

"If you want to save some money, buy the Tarus millineum, it is the same gun as the Glock."
IMO, the Tarus sucks, it had too long of a trigger pull and the DOA only was a pain in the butt as well. |

Lets get some jerky. That $10 Nagant will still be here when we get back.
Also substitute $100 1903 Springfield, and $250 Colt Commander. Never pass up the cheap deal at the Gun Show telling yourself it will still be there when you come back. |

$400 is a GREAT deal on that pre-'94 smith and wesson .40 sigma (with the 15 round mag). come on, after all its an "american made glock".
--this was in '96--i swear the next year the sigma production was increased and the retail price droped 100 dollars on new sigma's. |

I'm still kicking my self for listening to him. The guy doesn't like anything that isn't American Made or German. He is in his late 50's and worked at one of the local hardware/gun stores. I was too young, stupid and impressionable at the time. I should have known better. |

This was from a former boss who was an ex-cop. I was young and naive and never saw the money again. He was fired for various reasons. I later found out that he was an ex-cop because he was fired from the police force for a gambling habit. [:(!] |

A friend of mine in 1994 or so, when a local dealer had them on sale for $64.95. I ended up adding about $250.00 worth of crap to mine, and should have used the money getting more. I figured the price would keep going down. "Why would you want more of those 10/22 hicaps? Don't you have like 4 already?" Also in 1994. When they were [b]$13.00!!!!!![/b] Jeez. Preban Colt A2 LNIB w/hardcase & 6 colt 30rd. mags. $800 obo, 14 months ago at gunshow. I had just bought a shotgun, 9mm ammo can, & .45 ammo can. Had the girl with me and she says "I don't think you should buy another gun, just wait awhile. How are we going to carry all of it home anyhow?" I could hardly carry what I had... and so... I was stupid.

Didnt get the deer,wreck truck,or get arrested BUT those HOT casings flying around the cab sure made it interesting. Many years later we laugh about it and thank God we learned from it. Not sure this fits your question but was dumb gun advise I took.

I would not spend $700 for a DIAS the last M16 I sold was for $750 frankfort arsenal stainless steel lower. Why don't you just have me get you one of those instead?
I passed on his advice and guess what he never found me a reciever anywhere near the price. |
