I drive by every day and snapped this yesterday out the back window from the passenger side.  Yes, it isn't the best but you can see what is happening.  Ring D and C have been torn down.  Today driving by they had a ladder truck spraying water in there.  Wonder if there is still something smoldering.

I will bet that there is still something smouldering in the ruins.  The WTC still has some hot spots according to the news, there are pockets of hot spots, when exposed to air, they flare up.

The dust suppression is probably HIGHLY likely. I used to work in the Pentagon (room 5D471) and the building is basically fabricated from poured asbestos.

I don't think the section I used to work in was hit, but I still wouldn't have wanted to be in the building on Sept 11, 2001.

Just found out that some generator they were using caught fire.  So, it wasn't anything still burning.  The left side of the gap has had the entire face of the building removed.  It wasn't like that after the crash.
