... or horror movie? It's getting very close to Halloween, and these things usually show up on TV/cable.

I have always been partial to the "Friday The 13th" series (with part 4 being my favorite). The Evil Dead and Re-Animator series always cracked me up! I may be sick, but I love that stuff. [}:D]

I'm kind of fond of the Slumberparty Masacre flicks.  The Hellraiser ones are good too.  All the rest don't do much for me.

Gonna watch 'em all this weekend.  Oh yeah, and 'Dawn of the Dead'

I prefer the zombie type movies but my favorite slice&dice would have to be the first "Halloween". I had wood for Jamie Lee years after seeing that movie...!

I vote for the one where he flushes.

Oh wait, that's just about all of them.

I totally forgot about the Evil Dead movies.  I have the ED II DVD in the limited collectors tin, which I refuse to open.  I got it for $14.99 on sale at Best Buy.  It wasn't marked as being on sale, but that's what it rang up as when I checked out.  The sticker on it was $29.99, so I was happy!  I need to go pick up a copy I can actually watch.

On a related note, Army of Darkness: Official Bootleg Edition (Directors Cut) comes out on DVD on Tuesday.  I'll definitely be picking up a copy of that.

God Bless Texas

Nothing comes close to the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

The first Halloween was pretty good.  P.J. Soles, mmmmmmmmm . . .

Probably Phantasm. Or Hellraiser 1&2. Or Evil Dead 1. Or... Too many. Make Them Die Slowly is pretty intense, but not really a slasher per se.

Wow dude - I thought I was the only living person to watch "Make Them Die Slowly" and live to talk about it. The only movie that I have ever seen that compares to it is "Bloodsucking Freaks".[%|]

Friday the 13th part 3.

When Jason squeezes the guy's head till his eyes pop out. And it was in 3D.

Thats a quality kill!

It's not quite a slasher flick, but Peter Jackson's (The Frighteners, LOTR series) "Dead Alive" is quite a hoot.

John Carpenter's "The Fog" is another great Halloween flick.

OMG, I had completely forgotten about 'Happy Birthday To Me', that flick screwed me up the first time I saw it.  Particularly that scene with the motorbike...

Anybody catch the German movie Anatomy?  It was pretty good for a slasher.  Um, other than that, going to have go with the Evil Dead series.
