I just got home from work, don't even have my carry rig off yet, still have on the demonic duo(TR Special 1911, serial number TR666, Emerson CQC7 first production run, serial number 666). Just sitting here with a beer reading posts and listening to Iron Maiden. [beer] So, what are you up to? Blaze

Hey Bricklayer, I'm just getting into bows and would love to go bowhunting. Too bad we don't live closer. Any pointers you can give me??? I just got a PSE Nova, 55lb draw weight with a 29" draw length. I'm looking at hunting wild pigs (there's a lot of them down here) and maybe deer. What kind of broadhead do you recommend and do you have a recommended arrow?

Trying to take my mind off of the horrible ratings for the radio market. Other than that, I'm reading some posts on AR15.com and wondering where there is a good range around here because the NatGuard has taken over mine, oh, also trying to decide if I would like an FAL, AR10 or Remm700 for some good old fashioned long range shooting. Thinking about warming up the blackberry pie and hanging some shelves before I kick my girlfriend's butt in Scrabble. Am I oversharing?

I'm at work trying to get a backup system working. So far, so good, but I still have to sit here and watch it go. YAY overtime! I think I'll be able to pay off my AR at the end of this week at the rate I'm going. However, I'm supposed to be at Chucky Cheese with my 3yr old daughter, whom I promised I'd take tonight. I hate when work makes me a liar. God Bless Texas

I was in the garage reprogramming the PCM in my car. Now I'm sitting at my desk in my home office answering silly questions on AR15.com. Don't I lead an exciting life?

Just got done fixing my wife dinner, reading ar15.com and wondering why nobody in the southwest has an H&K USP Tactical to sell me.
Link Posted: 10/24/2001 5:24:59 PM EDT
sitting around in the campus computer lab until they post the answers to the test I just took. Also hoping that the local dealer will get in the knife I want to check out sometime this month. And wondering if I'll be able to save enough money to buy a gun anytime soon, esp. since my department just decided that all students now have to buy Windows2000 laptops with 600+mhz processors and 128+ megs ram...

I know exactly what you mean. I'm a network engineer. I still wonder why no one can write a piece of software that can reliably back up a server to tape. It seems like it should be so simple. Oh well, nothing like a thankless job. Blaze

That is so awesome, I think every parent should read books with their kids. Encouraging reading is a great thing, my hat's off to you.

Sitting on AR-15.com for last hour, waiting for the big ass storms from Indiana to nail us, so far, nothing eventful hit, a little rain. Supposed to be tornado warning or watch for some of the area, then maybe snow friday night???

Just got in from work upgrading a router during my normal maintenance window. I'd been there since 6:00 AM doing what I do best - being a computer geek. Tomorrow is another 15-16 hour day too! Oh Boy! I Can't wait! Rode my Harley in today with the REALLY loud pipes for those of you that get pissed off with such things! The old lady heard me coming a mile up the road and opened the garage door holding a cold one. THAT's what I call service! Now I'm checking out AR15.com and playing with my two new Leupold scopes I plan on mounting when I finish typing this stupid reply. You guys have fun here. I'm gonna get busy. GN30

Having a fine malted beverage, and cruising my sites. Earlier, I got off work at 5PM, skedaddled over to my club range, and checked my muzzleloader zero with a few shots out to 100 yds. Good thing I did, it was a foot low - the rear sight musta got accidentally tweaked. I marked it with paint so I can verify it in the field. Then I ate pizza the little lady made, and after that I cleaned my smokepole and popped a few 209 primers in it to make sure it is dry for tomorrow afternoon's hunt. Now, here I am. I'll be signing off as soon as Mrs. Wreck gets outta the shower. [:D]

Just got through pimping out my Ruger 10/22. When I get bored, strange things happen. At 1200 it was a standard blued rifle with wood stock. 1230 hours: have handheld belt sander going on stock. 1300: on my way to hardware store for grey paint and black textured paint 1400: back at house, sand down the receiver, paint first side of stock 1430: paint receiver with grey paint 1500: roll stock over, paint other side 1530: paint trigger guard grey 1700: All pieces dry and ready for reassembly 1715: rifle is back in one piece with scope mounted and looking cool as hell

Parked the Harley in the garage; helped the kids with homework; ate dinner; then settled in to watch Enterprise, Junkyard Wars, and since South Park was a repeat, watched a great show on TLC. Now I'm boring everyone with my evening.

Just got back from GFRIENDS HOUSE, Put in order for tomorrows start of business. Wondering what marketing schemes to employ next. Wondering how big this war will get. Thinking about what gun(s) I would like to purchase next. Thinking about buying a Hornady Progressive and trying to find a good .223 75gr TAP load (HOT AS IT CAN GET). Wondering about if their is a way to shape the inside of a case(call it internal architecture to produce the right mechanics to get more out of a round of .223) so that you can actually produce more velocity?? Just a think thing. Wondering when I am going to finish my Uhngineering degree. What business I would like to do next. Wondering if their is any money in Firearm sales?? Thinking about my children. This is my day repeating itself 100 times a day roughly. A proffessor told me I was wasting my brain in the BBQ business. It pays the bills. Thinking it may be wise to nuke the talibuns cave. Or at least FAE them to the point where we suck all the oxygen out of them. Benjamin
