Now I am not jumping to conclusions, but its possible for the meaning of that shirt to be misunderstood.

Do me a personal favor and don't send a thing to any military personnel especially the rangers.

Why not just pick a unit (ANY unit), write a heartfelt letter of support, and get everyone you know, see, or meet, to sign it. Address it to the CO, and ask him/her to read it to their troops at a formation.

Personally, I like the T-shirt idea, too, but a slogan that is more easily identified as being directed towards our enemies might be more appropriate. May I suggest "Boy, am I gonna kick your ass!"

And for the Death-cards: "Another free trip to Paradise, courtesy (insert unit of choice)"

It's a very well intentioned gesture but parcels could be intercepted and bio-agents inserted or they could be even contaminated as they go thru the postal system even the APO system.  Letter's are also very suseptible to being contaminated, I suggest donating cash to the Unit's Dependant fund if they have one.

abso-tively!  but man, if something like a weaponized form of smallpox or other communicable disease broke out on a Navy Aircraft Carrier, it would be disaster.
