What's the dividing line between an M4 and an M4gery? I'll soon have: pre-ban Colt M4 upper on a Colt Gov't Model pre-ban lower with a Colt collapsing stock. M4 or M4gery?

2 things make up the diference, The M-4 is select fire and has a 14.5 inch bbl An M-4gery has either a 16 inch bbl, or a 14.5 one with a permantly attached flash supressor, and is semi only

Armed Scientist, i wouldn´t classify the permanent FH as a M4gery requirement. I have a standard A2 birdcage on mine since i don´t have to pay 200$ and go through ATF checks to have it [:)] Any carbine which isn´t a Colt M4(M720, M727 an so on) or a M4A1(M927 an so on) select fire military weapon is an M4gery in my mind.
