just got back from an evening of shooting. am completely soaked and so is the ar.

any thing speical or significant i should keep in mind while cleaning? i dont think i've ever had it this wet before.

If you have access to an air compresor, blow out the AR before you start cleaning, clean it, and liberally apply CLP when putting it back together.

If no compressed air is available, just clean it real good and apply CLP liberally when reassembeling.

blow dryer works well too. blow heat on high in all the nooks and crannies. then CLP, RIG, ETC.
