I was wondering how much the BushMaster M4 look-alike weighs. What about the Shorty with the 16" heavy barrel?

Is there really a noticeable weight difference between the two?

I checked their website: they don't give weight for their rifles. They barely give any specifications for their products.

By the way, last time I checked, you're not my father.

My Bushy M4 weighs 7 1/4 lb with a Hakko Reflex sight, flip up rear sight, Wilson muzzle brake and sling. The Hakko weighs about 6oz so you get the idea...

I used to have a Colt 16" flattop HBAR that went 8 1/4 with the carry handle and Smith muzzle break.

Hope this gives you something to go on. The weight difference is noticeable between the two, especially if you use a top sling for a few hours.
