Though I rarely play these days Real Life tm just gets in the way too much, me and a couple of friends run a very popular server at freakshow.xmission.com (166.70.135.171).  The server is in Utah so you should ping well to it.  Also, if you get a chance, we host one of the biggest LAN in the intermountain west which we call FreakFest.  We usually have between 150 and 200 people at these events.  Our next FreakFest will be all day November 3rd up at the University of Utah.  This event will be a bit more subdued than most of our others with no organized competitions but it is guaranteed to be a blast.  Email me if anyone is interested and I will give you more details.

To the orig. Poster.  I play CS almost every weekend when I'm at work and there aren't calls coming in.  You should hit the Freakshow server and play.  CS is awesome though I haven't played since the 11th.  I don't think I'll ever be in the T's team again.....

Yeah, I guess it's "The Colt", but that's like assuming all tissue paper is made by Kleenex.

That's the one that irritates me the most.  Since CounterStrike, everyone thinks of the M4 and all other M16 variants as Colts.  I invited a bunch of local gamers to the range about a year ago.  About 6 ended up showing up.  I brought my Bushmaster AR15, a FAL and an SKS.  One of my friends brought his Colt AR15 and an HK91.  The first thing all the non shooters but heavy CounterStrikers said as they arrived was "Cool, look at the Colts".  I wanted to press the Bushmaster logo on my lower receiver into the forhead of everyone of those guys who said that.

What pisses me off the most about CS is what they did to the Benellis.  They made the M3 a pump-gun and I haven't even played with it, but they made the M4 Super 90 (XM1014) fully auto I THINK (or it just may have a super-fast rate of fire like the M3 is SUPPOSED to have).

If they wanted to have a pump gun for the machoness, give 'em a $300 Remington 870, Benelli Nova or Mossy 500.

I'd like to make the prices realistic, like $700 for a pistol and $600 for the shotguns.  Then my friends will ask why the pistols cost so damn much, then tell them about how they are required to have all these whiz-bang safeties built in, drop tested, submitted for testing and how the buyer ends up picking up the costs.

I also want to have an SB23 MOD for CS.  Make the USP have no threaded barrel, make the guns 10-round only, no flash suppressor (even bigger flash!), jack up the prices of the guns, and you can only buy a handgun every 30 days.  Shotguns can only have 5 rounds.  And you have to wait 10 days after buying a gun to get one.  No AR15s allowed.  You have to get a Mini-14.  AK47 is replaced by SKS without detachable magazine.

CS is the shit!! I love that game, I'm going to a LAN party this weekend to play it. I am the man with the Acuracy International Rifle. My favorite map is the oil rig. What do you play most.
