Here's what I know.  It is a 5.56mm rifle produced by Bushmaster, the gas operating system is similar to an AK-47, however, it supposedly has internal parts similar to the M-16.  It has a side folding stock & 16" barrel.  Here is a link to 3 pictures of the rifle in question:

It looks a bit like an Ar 180, but it is definatly not.

It's an old (original) Bushmaster!  Bushmaster and Quality Parts Company only came together in the late '80's to make AR's.  Before that Bushmaster made strange and innovate weapons.
