When I was a kid, Bill Haley & the Comets were
BIG. My older sister brought home Elvis 45's and had to hide them. Perry Como was BIG on television. Frank S was in his third revival. I am still a Four Freshmen fan - belong to their fan club. (I am 55) John |

I was a teenage dirt bag baby...back in the mid to late 1980s. Ah, now there was a decade of CRAPPY music. So I was into all the cool stuff from the decade before. I mean the really good stuff. Of course it had all the typical bands, Yes, Rush, The Who, Pink Floyd, but here were the more obscure....
King Crimson: Fripp was pure genius Gentle Giant(they kicked ass) Captain Beyond(Remember them?...'dancing madly backwards..on a sea of air' They were a wicked progressive southern band. Ah youth |

I cut my teeth on KISS in the late 70's ... loved all metal music after that. I'm almost 39 now and I still prefer heavy metal music but my tastes vary greatly now. Heck, there's not too much MUSIC I don't like !
